Business Systems Analyst
Location:
We have an opening in our Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities:
Provide analysis and design
support to existing and new clients. Will work with Sales, Marketing, and
Business Development staff to create business cases and solutions for
Docupace's application suite of software to clients. Manages and coordinates
one or more large process or requirements research efforts; performs specified
data analyses and studies as requested, and develops and presents reports in
support of various Docupace sales initiatives.
Requirements:
5 to 7 years experience in an analyst role and having
acted as in a consultant role providing technology services.
Must have played a major role in the roll out of
projects from Initiation to Deployment to Commercialization/Adoption and
must have proven consultative and advisory skills.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
and must be able to communicate effectively to gain cooperation with in a
multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials,
knowledge and understanding of business research principles, processes,
and techniques. Must have knowledge of project management principles,
practices, techniques, and tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with
excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
Develop and write detailed descriptions of program
function using Java, XML, SQL and Oracle. Deliver presentations and
technical overviews of Docupace products.
Upgrade company systems involving CRM & EDM
workstations, peripherals and correct errors to maintain computer systems
after implementation stage.
Prepare time and cost estimates for competing projects
using PERTand Criitial Path method.
Coordinate design requirements with MIS and other
departments by interfacing with users to analyze and determine software
requirements. Analyzie information to determine and plan computer
specifications and correct configurations.
Requirements:
4+ years experience in a systems analyst role,
customization of software applications and databases. Experience in
implementing and maintaining network configurations such as LAN, WAN,
internet/intranet of similar communication systems.
Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality results
and take initiative to undertake individual and team projects.
Experience in creating or working with cross-functional
teams creating content. Practical understanding and knowledge of system
and application design
