Solo Pracitioner Leverages Docupace

Los Angeles, CA,  December 21, 2009 - Craig Duvarney a solo practitioner based in Concord, Massachusetts was a recent guest columnist for T3: The Newsletter, a monthly newsletter dedicated to providing expert guidance surrounding technology needs for your practice.     In Mr. Duvarney’s article “How a Solo-Practitioner Utilized Technology to Help Him Achieve His Definition of Success”, he highlights the need for a technology solution that can a) help him run his practice with just a laptop, phone/fax/scanner combination and an internet connection and b) streamline non-revenue producing activities so he can focus more time on the revenue producing side.

The core backbone of any practitioner is the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution and Mr. Duvarney selected SmartOffice.  In his opinion, since SmartOffice is a web-based application, all additional integrations would also need to be web-based.  With that in mind, after reviewing various Imaging/Document Management vendors, he ultimately selected Docupace.    A primary factor in his decision making process was Docupace's unique partnership with SmartOffice in that they already have multiple levels of integration points and are developing additional ones.  As referenced in the article “This integration...allows me to access a client record in SmartOffice, click the Docupace Icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and access all of my clients scanned documents that are stored in Docupace.” He adds, “since my office is (almost) completely paperless, this means that I can access all of my client documents from anywhere...”
