Docupace is the Wealth Operations Platform: a connected, configurable system for the operational jobs at the heart of wealth management, all using a single unified data layer that firms can build on.
In May 2021, Docupace acquired jaccomo, the industry’s premier compliance, data integration, financial reporting, and advisor compensation accounting system. By combining jaccomo’s data-centric capabilities with the Docupace Platform’s powerful automation, workflow, and digital processing tools, we create a centralized source for execution excellence across wealth management.
Today’s tools are only as good as the integrations they support. Fortunately, Docupace integrates seamlessly with dozens of tools that your back office operations already rely on.

The next generation of Docupace
Contact data, accounts, documents, and the work that ties them together, on one platform built for broker-dealers, RIAs, banks & trusts, and other financial services businesses. Enter it once, then use it for account opening and account maintenance. At its foundation, a single intelligent layer that wealth firms can build on.
Serving the wealth management industry since 2002.
A new interface, better-connected data, and more ways to set the platform up your way. And you don't have to rebuild the operation you already run.
The short version
Docupace Next retains each client’s key demographic data in a single Contact record, so firms can use it when creating new accounts and processing account service work items instead of collecting it again. Folders stop being the center of everything. Reusable contacts and structured relationships take their place, so you can see the client, the account, and the work tied to both.
1
Gather key demographic information on contacts, entities, related parties, and accounts.
2
The same data fills forms, custodial processes, documents, work items, reports, and connected systems.
3
Data validations, approvals, supervisory review, and audit history move with the work.
4
Integrations, custom attributes, and an available GraphQL API connect Docupace to the rest of your tech stack.
It feels simpler on the surface because the data underneath is better connected.
Ask most firms how they open an account and the honest answer is "it depends." Brokerage happens on one custodian's platform, advisory on another. Mutual funds and annuities are typically purchased directly from the issuer, often by downloading a PDF from the provider’s website, filling it out by hand, and emailing it back and forth. Outside Docupace, there’s no single, repeatable, trackable way to do any of it.
Then the stack keeps growing. Every custodian, carrier, and vendor brings its own forms and portals, and the firm layers its own proprietary processes on top. Opening one account means jumping between systems, retyping the same client details, and sending the client multiple signing requests. Once the paperwork leaves one system, no one can easily follow the account to the finish line.
Docupace Next pulls those moments onto one platform, organized around the client.
One platform for wealth operations
Pick the capabilities your firm needs, connect them to the tools you already run, and add more as you grow.
Docupace Next stores each contact’s key demographic data in a single Contact record, so firms and advisors can use it when creating new accounts and processing account service work items instead of collecting it again.
Guide data capture, prepare the right forms, validate the information, and move account work through review and submission.
Coordinate the people, accounts, documents, and status tracking it takes to move a book of business.
Docupace’s ComplianceEdge allows you to connect monitoring, supervisory review, documentation, and reporting in one structured platform.
Apply rules to complex payout structures, automate the math, and give authorized users current and historical reporting.

Built around the client
Create a Contact, open the account, move the paperwork electronically, and keep all documents organized and securely on file.
One Contact Record
Connected by design
Docupace Next connects to the custodians, CRMs, and wealth tech your firm already uses. Building something of your own? The developer platform gives your team and partners direct access.
Built for every side of the operation
Standardize how work comes in, moves between teams, and gets finished. Shared views, bulk actions, and reporting show you where everything stands.
17M work items processed
Manage users, entitlements, features, integrations, and table layouts from one admin area, sorted by the job you're doing.
403K users on the platform
Screens that make sense from the first login, so advisors spend less time in training and less time re-entering data, hunting for documents, or calling the home office for a status update. More time with clients.
198K hours saved on data gathering
Supervisory work stays tied to the client, account, document, and history behind it, so pulling audit evidence takes minutes instead of a scavenger hunt.
750K accounts monitored daily
Documented APIs, supported integrations, and firm-specific data extensions. Build against typed platform objects, not screen scraping or file drops.
396K datasets synced between apps
Fewer repeat questions, fewer separate signing requests, and an account opening with steps that make sense.
681K eSign transactions

Docupace is the Wealth Operations Platform. It's a configurable system for the operational jobs at the heart of wealth management: client data gathering, account opening and maintenance, advisor transitions, surveillance and compliance, and compensation. The industry's largest broker-dealers and RIAs have relied on it since 2002.
What's new
New to Docupace, or ten years in? Here's what got better. Each change either gives your team better data or takes steps out of the work.
Store a person or legal entity once, as a Contact. Every account that person touches points back to the same record.
Change an address in one place. Stop re-creating the same party in folder after folder.

Beneficiaries, trusted contacts, and authorized individuals become Contacts of their own, linked by the role they hold.
Click through to the related person, and reuse them on the next account instead of typing them in again.

Pull documents from multiple work items into a single e-signature packet.
The client gets one email and signs once, even for a multi-account or multi-product opening. Fewer packets can also mean fewer e-signature transactions.

Guided data capture runs on standard, product-supported custodial integrations. The data drives the process and produces the forms the account needs.
Less rekeying, and no separate connection to maintain for each site.

Add, remove, and reorder table columns. Save a personal view or publish a firm default. Users, entitlements, features, and integrations are grouped by task.
Teams see the fields they use, in the order they use them. Authorized admins make routine changes themselves.

Optional USPS address standardization, plus record types built for people, trusts, corporations, and partnerships.
Data is consistent before it ever reaches a work item, a report, or a downstream system.

No. Workflows, documents, history, forms, Form Favorites, reports, firm hierarchy, and data roles carry over and work the way they do today. So do e-signature, wet signature, document delivery, and post-processing queues.
Guided account opening runs on product-supported integrations with Pershing and NFS.
Yes. Documents from multiple work items can go into a single e-signature packet, so the client gets one email and one signing session.
Yes. There is an available GraphQL API with an object dictionary and integration documentation, plus support for custom attributes.
Less than you might expect. The workflows your team knows carry forward, and the screens are built around how advisors actually work, so most of the learning is where things live and what they're called now. Your Docupace team can help plan training for your firm.
Broker-dealers, RIAs, banks & trusts, and other financial services organizations. Docupace Next is used by operations, compliance, admin, technology, and advisor teams, amongst others.
