Opening one account at a broker-dealer can pull in an advisor, an operations processor, a supervisor, a compliance reviewer and somebody in IT who keeps the custodian connection running. Each of them usually works in a different screen. The client just wants to sign once and be done.
Docupace Next, released October 14, 2026, puts that work on one platform: contact data, accounts, documents and the work that ties them together. It’s built for broker-dealers, RIAs, banks and trusts, and more than 440,000 people already use it. You pick the capabilities your firm needs, connect them to the tools you already run and add more as you grow. Here’s what that looks like for each group.
Operations Leaders
You get one standard way for work to come in, move between teams and get finished. Shared views and bulk actions let you see where every item stands and move many at once, and a dashboard of common reports is there when you log in.
In 2025 the platform processed 17 million work items and opened 2.8 million accounts, with a 1.7% NIGO rate across the platform. Optional USPS address standardization checks addresses as they’re entered, which keeps bad address data from turning into NIGOs later.
Advisors
Advisors spend less time re-entering data, hunting for documents or calling the home office for a status update. Each client’s key demographic data is stored once in a Contact record and reused when they open the next account or need account service. Guided account opening for Pershing, NFS and Schwab, with Axos coming later this year, lets the data drive the process and produce the forms.
That reuse adds up. The platform captured 21.8 million data elements without rekeying in 2025. Across the whole platform, firms saved 32,079,811 hours.
Recruiting is part of this too. Docupace coordinates the people, accounts, documents and status tracking it takes to move a book of business. In 2025 it helped transition 490 advisors and the 117,000 accounts that came with them.
Compliance Teams
Supervisory work stays tied to the client, account, document and history behind it, so pulling audit evidence takes minutes instead of a scavenger hunt.
ComplianceEdge connects monitoring, supervisory review, documentation and reporting, with rules-based transaction flagging and alert-driven auditing after the trade. It monitors $3.5 trillion in assets and 750,000 accounts daily, and 14 of the 50 largest U.S. banks and trusts use it. Compliance TRACKR automates delivery of Reg BI (Form CRS), Form ADV and DOL Rule disclosures and confirms clients receive them.
Because beneficiaries and trusted contacts are stored as structured records, not just names on a form, that data also supports Reg BI and senior-investor obligations.
Administrators
Users, entitlements, features, integrations and table layouts all sit in one admin area, sorted by the job you’re doing. Any user can add, remove and reorder table columns and save a personal view; authorized admins can publish a firm default or set the firm’s colors. Routine changes don’t need a support request or a release cycle.
Technology Teams
Docupace Next is hosted on AWS and offers a documented GraphQL API, supported integrations and firm-specific data extensions through custom attributes. Your developers build against typed platform objects instead of screen scraping or file drops. Integrations include BNY Pershing, NFS, Schwab, Salesforce, Redtail, Wealthbox, PreciseFP, Envestnet and USPS, and 396,000 datasets were synced between apps on the platform in 2025.
Finance and Compensation
Payouts are where advisor trust gets tested. In a 2023 Cerulli Associates study, 45% of advisors who switched broker-dealers named pay amount or structure as a key reason. And CaptivateIQ found in 2025 that 49% of companies overpaid or underpaid commissions in the past year.
Docupace applies rules to complex payout structures across products, grids and hierarchies, automates the math and gives authorized users current and historical reporting. No manual reconciliation at month end.
Clients
Clients see fewer repeat questions and an account opening with steps that make sense. Documents from several work items can go into one e-signature packet, so a multi-account opening means one email and one signing session. The platform handled 681,000 e-sign transactions in 2025.
All of it runs on documents that stay organized under the Contact they belong to. Docupace stores 655 million of them.
